The Coalition for Energy Governance aims to maximize the potential of civil society actors to uphold transparency and good governance in the nascent oil and gas sector. This year, we will view all of our work through an environmental lens. As the extractive industry expands, we will work to mitigate its harmful effects on coastal and marine ecosystems.
The Coalition aims to promote good governance in the energy sector in Lebanon, through information dissemination, monitoring and assessment, advocacy and awareness raising. These actions will be achieved by all legal means, in compliance with the laws and regulations in force.
